Supportive TIL Housing

Helping to prevent homelessness among young adults who have exited the state’s system of foster and/or relative care by providing quality apartments, rent subsidies, job coaching, paid internships, life coaches, and much more for 25 young adults and their young children.

Across the country, child welfare and homeless service systems know that young people who age out of foster care, lacking the emotional or financial support of families, are at extremely high risk for homelessness, incarceration, and addiction as young adults, and rarely complete their education.  In Florida, the foster care & relative care system ends when children turn 18.
